Friends, welcome to my pipe workshop!

My name is Patrik Slažanský, and I live in Slovakia. Among other activities, I make freehand pipes from briar wood. A pipe is a beautiful aesthetic and artistic work that not only pleases the eye and soul, but also warms your hands when tobacco burns in it. I have been making pipes for a long time, and I have come a long way since the first pipe I made, but of course there is always room for improvement, and that is what I enjoy the most. I have always admired the beautiful shapes and different designs of pipes, to such an extent that I started looking for various forums, mostly foreign, on the subject of pipe making – the materials used, pipe shapes, designs, and various processing techniques.

I searched for information for a long time and watched videos on YouTube, until one day I bought my first hobby block and completely fell over the spell of smoking. I presented my first professional sales collection in December 2012, which was very successful, especially abroad. Since then, I have gone through professional growth and I hope this is reflected in my recent work. Every pipe made in my workshop is an original piece – I try to go my own way. I start from classic shapes but presented a little differently the way I just feel. My work has found fans in Australia, USA, Canada, Mexico, Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, France, Hungary, Cyprus but also in the Czech Republic and of course at home, in Slovakia.

I believe that the amount of pipes made will constantly increase and I hope that every pipe will find their happy owner or fans.
